1. What are Scotties®’ photo sleeves?
They are customized covers to fit over your Scotties facial tissue boxes and a unique way of sharing your memories around the house. Featuring your own digital photos and comments, Scotties photo sleeves bring a personal touch to your home and office decors.

2. What material is the Scotties photo sleeves made of?
Scotties photo sleeves are made of solid cardboard on which a coat of shiny varnish is applied for protection.

3. How do I create a Scotties photo sleeve?
First of all, make sure you select the right sleeve product to design. Remember the Regular photo sleeve is precisely adapted to Scotties®’ regular 2-ply and Lotion 3-ply facial tissue boxes while the Large photo sleeve fits Scotties Supreme 3-ply and EnviroCare 2-ply boxes only.

After selecting the sleeve size, you must upload all images you intend to add to your Scotties photo sleeve using the Photo Uploader.

It’s now time to customize your Scotties Photo sleeve! Select your preferred theme and insert your special images into the different placeholders. Add personal text messages by clicking any text box or inserting your own. You can also enter birthdays of your friends and family to the bottom of the calendar. For other details on photo sleeve creation, please refer to the Software Use section below.

4. How many photos do I need to create a Scotties photo sleeve?
There is no minimum number of pictures to design a Scotties photo sleeve, although you can add as many photos to a sleeve as physically possible. In general, a simpler style often turns out more interesting than a layout with too much content.

5. How long will it take to create a Scotties photo sleeve?
Personalization of a Scotties photo sleeve will only take a few minutes to complete. Give it a try, it’s easy!

6. How much do Scotties photo sleeves cost?
You will pay only $5.99 each plus shipping, handling and applicable taxes, whether you create a Regular (made for Scotties Regular 2-ply and Lotion 3-ply boxes) or Large (fits Scotties Supreme 3-ply and EnviroCare 2-ply boxes) Scotties photo sleeve.

7. What are the payment options?
We only accept payments made by credit cards via our online order page, not by phone or fax. Accepted credit cards are Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

8. Can I preview my Scotties photo sleeve before I purchase it?
Yes. After completion of your photo sleeve, a preview will be automatically generated. As a result, you will need to “approve” every sleeve before it is printed.

PHOTO UPLOADER

1. How does the Photo Uploader work?
After choosing the size of photo sleeve you wish to order, you will be invited to upload your preferred images onto the Scotties Photos server. Once your images are transferred, you can use them to create your personalized photo sleeve.

IMPORTANT! You cannot return to the Photo Uploader during the creation of your photo sleeve WITHOUT LOSING the current work. Therefore, you have to upload all the images you wish to add onto your Scotties photo sleeve first.

Please note that only your images will be saved to the Scotties Photos server for a maximal duration of 60 days (completed photo sleeves cannot be saved).

SOFTWARE USE

1. How many themes are available?
There are hundreds of backgrounds, including 17 inspired by the Scotties collection.
You can change the background at any time in Customize mode. To activate this mode, press the blue “Customize” button located at the bottom of the Workspace.

2. There is a yellow warning in the upper left corner of my image.
When inserting an image to the Workspace, the Scotties Photos software compares the resolution of your images to the size of your final frame and the desired quality of print. A yellow warning signifies that the enlargement ratio of your image is too large and that its resolution is too low to execute a high quality print. To avoid this problem, only use high quality resolution images.

3. Will the placeholder be printed if I do not place text or an image in it?
Image and text placeholders that are left empty will not be printed and will remain invisible at final printing of the product.

4. How do I modify the images of my Scotties photo sleeve?
When you double-click on an image, you have access to an editing menu allowing you to adjust the rotation, size, pan parameters and many more options.
Please note that more options are offered to you in Customize mode. To activate this mode, press the blue “Customize” button located at the bottom of the Workspace. Don’t forget to add clipart from the wide range of available options.

SAVE FUNCTIONALITY

1. How do I save my Scotties photo sleeves?
When you are customizing your sleeves, you have to click the “save” button to make sure you save your sleeve and you can safely exit the editing menu by clicking on “return to Cart”. In order to save your sleeve, you must have previously created an account.

2. Where are my Scotties photo sleeves saved?
Your photo sleeves are saved directly on your personal account. However, you first need to create an account if you want to be able to save them. To create an account, you must go under the tab “ log in” and choose” Create a new account”.

3. Can I create and order a sleeve without creating an account?
You can create and order a sleeve even if you do not have an account. However, you need an account if you want to save your work and order it later.

4. How do I delete the Scotties photo sleeves saved to my account?
If you go to the “my account” menu, you will see the sleeves you have created. You can select the garbage bin icon to the right to delete a photo sleeve. Please note that you cannot delete sleeves that have been already ordered.

5. How can I reorder a completed photo sleeve?
You will be able to reorder a sleeve if you were logged in to your account when you first ordered it. You just have to log in to your account, then go under “my account” and click on “Reorder this photo sleeve”. At this point, a new copy of the sleeve is automatically created. You will be able to make changes to this sleeve by clicking on “Customize”. You can also leave your sleeve the way it was by just clicking “preview” and then “confirm”. You are now ready to reorder your sleeve!

6. Can I modify a photo sleeve once it is completed and transferred to the shopping cart?
When in the “Cart” section, if your sleeve is marked by a green check, you will not be able to modify it. When still marked as “In Progress”, it is still possible to modify your sleeve by clicking on “Customize”.

7. Can I add more pictures to a photo sleeve when marked “In Progress”?
Yes. When your sleeve is marked “In Progress”, you can modify it by clicking on the “Customize” button. It is impossible to modify your sleeve when a green check mark appears next to it, which means the sleeve is completed.

8. Can I change the password associated with my Scotties Photos account?
Of course. In “my account” menu, you can click on “change my email or my password” and then change your personal data.

9. Can I order different sleeve models and sizes on the same order?
Absolutely. You can order as many sleeves of the 2 different sizes and models as you want. You only have to put all the sleeves you want to order in your cart and order them at the same time.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

1. What are the shipping and handling charges?
The shipping and handling charges vary based on the number of photo sleeves per order. Please refer to the table below for shipping and handling charges in Canada only.

2. When can I expect my Scotties photo sleeve?
You will receive your photo sleeve(s) within 2 weeks of placing your order. Furthermore, we will send you emails throughout the process in order for you to follow the progress of your order.

3. How do I know the status of my shipment?
You will be advised by e-mail when the payment of your order has been received and at the moment of delivery.

4. I did not receive a confirmation e-mail after placing my order.
You have probably not indicated the correct e-mail address. If you provided the incorrect address on the order form, the confirmation email will be sent to the wrong address.

5. Who do I contact if I have not received my order?
If you haven’t received your photo sleeve(s) within 2 weeks of ordering, please forward your payment approval confirmation with a short note to info@scottiesphotos.ca. We will answer your request by the next business day.
